Aaahhhh - it's here! Road Construction Season. Northern Illinois has two seasons, the other one is Winter.
I love road construction season... The stop & start traffic, road blocks, delays, detours, dust, dirt, gravel dings on my car, the stench of asphalt...... NOT!

aahhh.....I worked road construction once upon a time...and I think you're right..some ladies would stop and chat for a short if there wasn't much traffic behind them. I thought they were just being nice...lol...now you tell me...
